Spatial Hosting

GeoApt provide two plans for your geospatial hosting needs.

Plans

Full hosting plan including shell access to work at the command line on the server

Same as our full plan but without shell access or CMS. You transfer your files, data, and images using secure FTP or secure copy

Spatial hosting includes:

MapServer
PHP MapScript
CartoWeb Support (optional)
PostgreSQL database with PostGIS spatial extension
MySQL database
Shell access (with Full plan)
Your choice of Joomla Cutting Edge Content Management System (CMS) or Drupal (with Full plan)
Site is accessed using your domain name
5Gb storage
Includes setup for 2 domains - Additional domain setup $20 each

MapServer and Supporting Software: You get MapServer plus PHP mapscript and other utilities needed to manage your web mapping site. You can install additional frameworks (e.g. Chameleon) within your own web space. Additional features are available upon request.
Content Management System: If desired, your package will include the Joomla Content Management System for creating supporting web pages and content for your mapping site. The administrator interface provides you with complete control over your website, including adding/modifying content and installing new modules and components. Rather than pay someone to update your site, you can do it yourself with the included WYSIWYG editor. Drupal is also available upon request.
Domain Name: Your site will be accessed through your own domain name, giving it a professional appearance. If you have a domain name you can use it. If you need assistance in registering a domain, we can assist you at no charge, or register it for you for a small fee.
Storage and Bandwidth: Your site comes with 5 Gb of disk storage and 100Gb bandwidth per month.

¹Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, however no refund will be made for the current month.
